My recent stay at Alkioni Hotel in Karpathos was truly exceptional. the hosts, Minas and Anna, embody the essence of Greek hospitality, making us feel like part of their family. the spacious and immaculately clean apartments offered mesmerizing views of the idyllic fishing village of Finiki and the neighboring island of Kasos, creating the perfect backdrop for unforgettable sunsets every evening. Minas's insightful recommendations led us to hidden gem restaurants serving some of the most exquisite dishes I've savored in Greece, and secluded beaches that added a touch of magic to our trip. the breakfast spread, featuring fresh and locally sourced ingredients, was a delightful culinary journey in itself, setting us up for a day of exploration on this captivating island. The personal touch extended by Minas and Anna, from driving us to the local market to serving breakfast on our private balcony overlooking the sea, made our experience truly memorable. the Karpathian room we stayed in, adorned with traditional decorations and comfortable furnishings, felt like a cozy retreat where we could unwind and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.
